Welcomre to Anjuman Girls Degree College

A.G.D.C.A. is exclusively Girl’s College administered under the thumb of Anjuman Hami-E-Islam, Sadar, Nagpur., the pioneer minority insitution, having legacy and heritage of more than 120 years from Vidharbha, maharastra State, serving the cause of education and welfare of minorities in the region. On popular demand Anjuman hami E Islam started Anjuman Girls’ College from the academic session 1998.

VISION

Justice Sacchar Committee has recently pointed out the background of Muslim Community in general and of Muslim Women in particular. Anjuman Girls Degree College of Arts aims at giving women students sound and secular education.it performs the pious duty of disseminating knowledge in the sphere of Arts faculty for their academic success through Hindi medium and tries its level best to make them self-relient and responsible citizens to bring them into national mainstream.

COURSE

The College cater to the educatinal RECRUTMENTS OF Arts faculty (B.A.) students, having all the essential optional subjects for girls, linguistic refinement and specialization in social sciences. Besides compulsary languages the college offeres studies in English/Hindi/urdu Literature and Persian Literature as well. Under the category of social Sciences knowledge is imparted in History / Political Science / Economics / Sociology and one more popular subject among girls, i.e.Home-Economics with demonstration and practicals.

AVAILABLE FACILITIES

Ample provision is made for made the student to participate in different games and sport at the university level. Besides it, National Service Scheme (N.S.S.), its annual camp, short-term workshop, seminars, debates, lectures of outside faculty, cultural compititions,co-curricular activities etc. are heald throught the year to widen the cultural, Social, academic and aesthtic interest of the student. The college has a specious building, a well-equipped library and reading room with a large no of text-books,reference books, magazines,periodicals and newspapers,Student can avail of Govt..of india Scholarships (SC/ST/VJ/NT/SBC/OBC), State Govt. open Merit Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship for minorities,besides assistance from R.T.M. nagpur university Students’ Aid Fund.
